You should consider LED Lighting for a kitchen. Using an LED solution for this space could be one of the most practical places to start saving significant energy and expense when compared to the energy used in operating a conventional lighting system.
An LED lighting solution will also afford the opportunity for significant improvements and alternative ways of lighting the space previously not possible either because of physical size or heat related issues. This make it possible to place LEDs within or on the structure of the kitchen simply beacuse of their small scale and cool running characteristics. Use the Cadisch GIGB LED downlight for general lighting and then supplement for decorative or low level task lighting with a range of other available products such as MINI CHAIN LED, Flexi LED strip or undercupboad LED.
You can even use colour change LED lighting for some of these peripheral tasks. However, colour change or coloured light should be seen as adding flare to the space and would not normally be used for task lighting for food preparation.
